I’ve been playing around with “Google Insights,” a sweet Google page that lets you see what people are searching for all around the World. Now, you can find out what people are searching for by geo-location. How awesome is that? I’m sure you can already see the potential for fun.

    Seriously though, the fact that those searches weren't in largely Cali or NY or something were there are more people has to mean something. XD But, idk, according to wikipedia Florida is number 4 for population, so that gives them something.


    Anyway, some interesting ones I found:
    Pikachu - top county: Vietnam, by faaar. The Philippines, who are next on the list, search for pikachu about 1/5 as much as the Vietnamese. XD
    Twinkies - top state: Missouri. Middle of America, not much suprise I suppose.
    My first and last name - top state: Oregon. Sorry, just for vein little me. XD
    Guns - top state: Alaska. I guess they have to do something during those 23 hour days and nights...

    i live in miami n i knew it as soon as i started the video im surprised were not #1 in std google searches either i grew up in south flordia but i been 2 alot of places but no places like home unless its japan, japan deffinatly kicks S. FL ass

    Hmmmm.... When you search for Japan on international, you get Myanmar, Laos, Mongolia and Cambodia.... Japan is 9th. Uganda is on there too, like 6th. When you search Nihon, it goes Singapore, then for some reason Paraguay. Japan is 5th. Wow, I need a life.

    Secondly, oh my, as a Southern girl, who lived in three of the Southern states mentioned (GA, SC, and AL) with yearly trips to FL, now living in the Starbucks capital (WA), I have to say that makes so much sense...

    I'm sure you have more vital things you could be doing, Koichi, but thank you so much for this post! It really put a smile on my face! I have to show this to some friends now...
